In September 9th 2025, Barbara Sowińska-Świerkosz from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland  presented results of the NatureScape project during the WETPOL 2025 Conference in Gdańsk, Poland.

Her presentation, “Evaluating the Ecological and Social Impact of Urban Rain Gardens in Lublin, Poland”, explored how rain gardens contribute to ecological resilience and enhance the quality of urban life.

The event gathered more than 150 participants, representing academia, practitioners, business, and both local and national authorities. This diverse audience fostered an inspiring exchange of knowledge and perspectives on the future of sustainable urban environments.
